NOTICE OF APPLICATION to the Ontario
Municipal Board by the Corporation of
the Village of Tiverton for approval
of a By-law to regulate land use passed
pursuant to Section 35 of The Planning
Act.
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation
of the Village of Tiverton intends to apply to the Ontario
Municipal Board pursuant to the provisions of Section 35 of
The Planning Act for approval of By-law No. 76-15 of the
Village of Tiverton, passed on the 18th day of November,
1976. A copy of the By-law is furnished herewith. A note
giving an explanation of the purpose and effect of the By-law
and stating the lands affected thereby is also furnished
herewith.
Any person interested may within fourteen (14)
days after the date of this notice, send by registered mail
or deliver to the Clerk of the Village of Tiverton, notice
of his objection to approval of the said by-law together
with a statement of the grounds of such objection.
Any person wishing to support the application
for approval of the by-law may within fourteen (14) days
after the date of this notice, send by registered mail or
deliver to the Clerk of the Village of Tiverton, notice of
his support of approval of the said by-law together with a
request for notice of any hearing that may be held giving
also the name and address to which such notice should be
sent.
The Ontario Municipal Board may approve of the
said by-law but before doing so it may appoint a time and
place when any objection to the by-law will be considered.
Notice of any hearing that may be held will be given only
to persons who have filed an objection or notice of support
and who have le~t with or delivered to the Clerk undersigned,
the address to which the notice of hearing is to be sent.
THE LAST DATE FOR FILING OBJECTIONS will be December 22, 1976.

A By-law to regulate the use of
land, buildings and structures
on part of Lot 85, Registered
Plan 210.
The Municipal Council of the Village of Tiverton
ENACTS as follows:
1. This By-law applies to the lands described in
Schedule "A" annexed hereto.
2. No person shall hereafter use any of the lands
described in Schedule "A" hereto, or erect or use any building
or structure except for one single family detached dwelling
on each lot and buildings accessory thereto subject to the
following regulations:

(b) No trailers, campers, recreational vehicles
or mobile homes shall be permitted to
be used as dwellings on the said lands.
(c) No dwelling, except only any storage building
detached from the dwelling on the said
lands may be erected on a post or pier
type of foundation.
3.. Every person that uses any land or erects or
uses any building or structure in a manner contrary to any
requirements of this By-law or who violates any provision
of this By-law shall upon conviction therefor, forfeit and
pay a penalty not exceeding Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00)
exclusive of costs for each offence.
4. Any lot within the lands described in Schedule "An
hereto which is described as the whole of a lot on a registered
plan of subdivision shall be deemed to comply with the area and
frontage requirements of this by-law.
5. Schedule "A" attached to this by-law forms part
of this by-law.

6. This by-law shall come into force upon receiving
approval of the Ontario Municipal Board but subject thereto
shall take effect from the date of passing hereof.
