THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE
BY-LAW
NO. 2021 - 088
A BY-LAW TO APPOINT DALLAS HEWITT AS BUILDING INSPECTOR FOR
THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE
WHEREAS the Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine has the capacity,
rights, powers, and privileges of a natural person for the purpose of exercising its
authority under Section 8 of the Municipal Act, S.O. 2001, c.25;
AND WHEREAS c. 23, section 3(2) of the Building Code Act, R.S.O., 1992 as
amended, required the council of each municipality to appoint a chief building
official and such inspectors as it deems necessary for the enforcement of the
Building Code Act within its municipal boundaries;
AND WHEREAS Section 227 of the Municipality Act, S.O.,2001 Ch 25 authorizes
Council to pass by-laws for appointing such officers and employees as may be
necessary for the purposes of the Corporation, for carrying into effect the
provision of any by-law of Council;
AND WHEREAS the Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine deems it
appropriate to appoint Dallas Hewitt as Building Inspector for the purpose of
carrying out or enforcing regulations in accordance with the application legislation,
policies and by-laws of the Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of
Kincardine ENACTS as follows:
1. That Dallas Hewitt is hereby appointed as Building Inspector for the Corporation
of the Municipality of Kincardine;
2. This By-law shall come into full force and effect upon its final passage.
