THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE
BY-LAW
NO. 2021 - 079
A BY-LAW TO APPOINT ROXANA BAUMANN AS DIRECTOR OF
CORPORATE SERVICES/TREASURER FOR THE MUNICIPALITY OF
KINCARIDNE
WHEREAS pursuant to the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25 as amended,
Section 8 (1) and 9 provide that the powers of a municipality under this or any
other Act shall be interpreted broadly so as to confer broad authority on the
municipality to enable the municipality to govern its affairs as it considers

issues and has the capacity, rights, powers and privileges of a natural person for
the purpose of exercising its authority under this or any other Act;
AND WHEREAS pursuant to the said Municipal Act, Section 286 (1) provides
that a municipality shall appoint a treasurer who is responsible for handling all of
the financial affairs of the municipality on behalf of and in the manner directed by
the council of the municipality
AND WHEREAS the Council for The Corporation of the Municipality of
Kincardine deems it advisable to appoint a Director of Corporate Services/
Treasurer for the Municipality of Kincardine;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of
Kincardine ENACTS as follows:
1.That Roxana Baumann be appointed as the Director of Corporate
Services/Treasurer for The Corporation of the Municipality of
Kincardine.
2.That to fulfill those duties outlined inSection 286 (1) of the Municipal Act,
2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25, Roxana Baumann be appointed as treasurer for
The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine.
3.That By-law No. 2012 - 058 be repealed.
4.That this by-law shall come into full force and effect upon its final passage.
5.That this by-law may be cited as the "Roxana Baumann as Director of
Corporate Services/Treasurer Appointment By-law".
