BEING A BYLAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NO. 2002 -179, A BY-LAW TO ESTABLISH
RATES AND FEES FOR THE SERVICES
PERFORMED BY THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE
(Building, Plumbing, Marina Fees)
WHEREAS Section 391 (1) of the Municipal Act 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25, authorizes
municipalities to pass by-laws imposing fees or charges on any class of persons for
services or activities provided or done by or on behalf of it;
AND WHEREAS municipal councils have the authority to establish rates and fees under
various acts.
AND WHEREAS the Council for The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine, with
the passage of By-law No. 2002 - 179, established rates and fees for the services
performed by the Municipality;
AND WHEREAS the Council for The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine
deems it necessary to amend certain sections of By-law No. 2002 -179 pertainin9 to
building, plumbing and marina fees;
NOW THEREFORE the Council for The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine
ENACTS as follows:
1. That the Council of the Municipality of Kincardine does now set the rates and
fees for services described in the attached Schedules B, I and J.
2.
That Schedules B, I and J of Municipality of Kincardine Consolidated Fee By-law
No. 2002-179 are hereby revoked and substituted with the attached Schedules
B, I and J.
3. That this by-law shall come into full force and effect upon its final passage.
4. That this By-law shall be known as the "Amendment to Consolidated Rates and
Fees By-law No. 2002-179 (Building, Plumbing, Marina) By-law".

Transient Rates:
A rate of $1.15 per foot per night plus G. S. T . (minimum 20 feet), seventh night is
free.(Note 10 transient slips will be allocated in the new harbour section and 10
transient slips will also be allocated in the old harbour section. G.S.T. not included
in this rate).
Fish Derby Dock Rental Rate
Dock rental shall be the regular transient rate per night plus G.S.T. less 15%
discount. If a slip is used for 10 nights, the charge shall be calculated based on 9
nights, with the lOth night free.
