THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE
BY-LAW
NO. 2021 - 019
BEING A BY-LAW TO APPOINT REPRESENTATIVES TO VARIOUS
COMMITTEES, BOARDS AND POLICYAREAS
WHEREAS Section 11 (2) of the Municipal Act 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25, as
amended, authorizes a lower-tier municipality to pass by-laws respecting the
governance structure of the municipality and its local boards;
AND WHEREAS pursuant to the said Act, Section 8 (1) provides the powers of a
municipality under this or any other Act shall be interpreted broadly so as to
confer broad authority on the municipality to enable the municipality to govern its

respond to municipal issues;
AND WHEREAS the governance structure of the Municipality of Kincardine is set
out in the MunicipalitycZ Procedure By-law;

AND WHEREAS By-law No. 2019-074 was passed on the 6day of May2019to
appoint elected representatives to various committees and policy areas;
ANDWHEREAS By-law No. 2019b074 was amended by By-law No. 2021 b012
on January 25, 2021;
AND WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine
deems it expedient to repeal the above noted by-laws and replace it with this by-
law to appoint representativesto various committees, boards and Committee of
the Whole policy areas;
NOW THEREFORE theCouncil of The Corporation of the Municipality of
Kincardine ENACTS as follows:
1.Thatthe following representatives be hereby appointed for the term of
Council to the various committees, boards and Committee of the Whole
policy areas as set out:

2. That the appointments to the various committees, boards and Committee
of the Whole policy areas be open to amendment, as approved from time
to time, by the Council of the Municipality of Kincardine.
3. That By-law No. 2019 - 074, and By-law No. 2021 - 012 by hereby
repealed.

4. This by-law shall come into full force and effect upon its final passage.
