THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF KINCARDINE
BY - LAW 75 - 06
A BT e Law to restrict the weight of vehicles passing over a Bridge.
Whereas Sub-Section 8 of Section 64 of the Highway Traffic Act,
R.S.O. 1970 Chapter 202 provides that:-
The Municipal Corporation or other authority having juris-
diction over a bridge may, by BY-Law approved òy the Department
of Transportation and Communications, make regulations limiting
the gross weight of any vehicle or combination of~ic1es or
"~y class thereof passing ever such bridge, and liflice ef the
limit of the weight fixed by such regulations, legibly printed,
shall òe pested up in a conspicuous place at each ent of the
bridge.
And whereas it is deemed expedient to limit the weight of
vehicles passing over a bridge in the Municipality ef Kincardine
!Pewnship;
lOw therefor the council of the Municipal Corporation of the
'Pownship of 'K1ncardinè ena.' as follow8:-
1. He vehicle or combination of vehicles, whether empty."
leaded, shall be operated over the bridge known as the
Conley Bridge between lots 10 and 11 concession 7,
Municipality ofllncardine Township, with a weight in
excess of 10.080 p..nds.

shall be liable to the penalties provided in section 64
of the Highway Traffic Act.

~is By-Law shall not become effective until approvet by
the Department of Transportation and Communications and
until a notice of the limit of~ weight permitted,
legibly printed, has been posted ~in a conspicuous place
at each end of the bridge.
