HomeMy WebLinkAboutBRU 84 029 remuneration employe CORPORATIOII OP THE 'I'OWIISHIP OP BRUCK BY-LAM '84-29 BEING A BY-LAW to set the rate of remuneration for council and staff. WHEREAS the Municipal Act R.S.O. 1980, Chap. 302, Section 238(1), 240(1), 203(45) and amendments thereto authorize a Municipal Council to pass by-laws for the establishment of remuneration. NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Bruce enacts as follows: (1) That the remuneration for council be set ate the following rates. (a) Reeve (b) Deputy Reeve (c) Councillors $6,064.00 per annum $4,244.00 per annum $3,638.00 per annum (2) That the remuneration for the Clerk-Treasurer be set as follows: (a) $31,642. per annum. (3) That the remuneration for the Road Superintendent be set at: (a) $27,105. per annum. (4) That the remuneration for other employees be set as follows: (a) Grader operator & Snow plow operator - $8.09 - $10.00 per hour. (b) Truck Driver (c) Labourer, Landfill Site Supervisor & Wingman (d) Community Centre Custodian (e) By-law Enforcement Officer & Chief Building Official (f) Secretary Receptionist (g) Typist - Part time - $7.22 - $ 8.85 per hour. - $5.77 - $ 7.22 per hour. - $6.83 per hour. - $10.00 per hour. - $14,056. per annum. - as determined by council resolution (5) Rate for kilometers travelled on Township business be authorized by council from time to time. (6) This by-law takes effect January 1, 1985. By-law introduced and read a First time this TWENTIETH day of DECEMBER, 1984. By-law read a Second time this TWENTIETH day of DECEMBER, 1984.
