HomeMy WebLinkAboutBRU 89 013 appt fire chief blgd THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF BRUCE BY-LAW NO. 89-13 r-e BEING A BY-LAW to appoint the Fire Chief as a Building Inspector. WHEREAS Section 3 of the Building Code Act, R.S.O. 1980, the Council of a Municipality is responsible for the enforcement of that Act within the Municipality; AND WHEREAS by virtue of Subsection 2 of Section 3 of the BUilding Code Act, the such inspectors as enforcement of the Council of a Municipality shall appoint for the purposes of the the areas in which the are necessary said Act in Municipality has jurisdiction; AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Bruce in fulfilling these duties, wishes to assign specific responsibility for the enforcement of the said Act and the regulations made thereunder, (hereinafter referred to as the "Building Code"). NOW THEREFORE the Council of the corporation of the Township of Bruce enacts as follows: The Chief of the Paisley and Area Fire Department is hereby appointed as an Inspector pursuant to Subsection 2 of Section 3 of the said Act and shall be responsible for enforcing those sections of the Building Code set out in Schedule "A" annexed hereto. By-law introduced and read a First time this FOURTEENTH day of FEBRUARY, 1989. By-law read a Second time this FOURTEENTH day of FEBRUARY, 1989.
