THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF BRUCE BY-LAW NO. 89-39 BEING A BY-LAW to set the rate of remuneration for Council and staff, WHEREAS the Municipal Act R,S,O, 98(1), 208(45), 238(1), 240(1), and a Municipal Council to pass by-laws remuneration, 1980, Chapter 302, Section amendments thereto authorize for the establishment of NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Bruce enacts the rates for 1990 as follows: (1) That the remuneration for Council be set at the following rates: (a) Reeve (b) Deputy-Reeve (c) Councillors In addition to basic remuneration, $7,106,00 per annum $4,745,00 per annum $4,250.00 per annum council members will be entitled to a per diem for meetings attended other than two regular council meetings per month, Per diem for one-half day meeting $30,00 (minimum three hours), Per diem for full day meeting $50,00. (2) That the remuneration for the Clerk-Treasurer be set at: (a) $42,400.00 per annum. (8) Vacation entitlement for employees except Clerk-Treasurer to be as follows: 2 weeks after 1 year 3 weeks after 5 years 4 weeks after 18 years 5 weeks after 25 years Clerk-Treasurer's vacation covered by By-law No, 88-25, (9) In the absence of the Road Superintendent, a working foreman may be appointed, and shall be paid $1,00 per hour more than the highest paid employee he shall supervise.
