HomeMy WebLinkAboutBRU 90 037 maint macdonald drai THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF BRUCE BY-LAW NO. 90-37 BEING A BY-LAW to authorize the maintenance of the MacDonald Drain 1975 in the Township of Bruce and the payment therefore by the lands and roads affected. WHEREAS the Council of the request for the maintenance of Township of Bruce has received a the MacDonald Drain 1975. AND WHEREAS this municipal drain was constructed after a report by A. W. Clark, P. Eng., dated December 21, 1975 and approved by By-law No. 76-4 of the Corporation of the Township of Bruce, being the current by-law. AND WHEREAS the Council of the Township of Bruce now desires to proceed with the maintenance of a portion of this drain without obtaining the report of an Engineer, in accordance with Sections 74 and 75 of The Drainage Act. AND WHEREAS in accordance with Section 74 of The Act, the cost of the maintenance of municipal drains is to be at the expense of all the upstream lands and roads in any way assessed for the construction or improvement of the drainage works and in the proportion determined by the current by-law pertaining thereto. AND WHEREAS the estimated cost of this maintenance (two thousand one hundred and forty six dollars and is $2,146.50 fifty cents). AND WHEREAS $2,146.50 is the amount lands and roads in the Township of Bruce this municipal drain. to be contributed by the for the maintenance of NOW THEREFORE the Council of the said Township of Bruce pursuant to the provisions of The Drainage Act, enacts as follows: Firstly That the following repairs are hereby authorized and .-e shall be completed in accordance with; Cleanout of open drain on Lots 19 and 20, Concession ........... 11. By-law introduced and read a First time this TWENTY-THIRD day of OCTOBER, 1990. By-law read a Second time this TWENTY-THIRD day of OCTOBER, 1990.
