NO. 2015 -163
BEING A BY -LAW TO APPOINT ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES TO VARIOUS
COMMITTEES, BOARDS AND POLICY AREAS
WHEREAS Section 11 (2) of the Municipal Act 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25, as
amended, authorizes a lower -tier municipality to pass by -laws respecting the
governance structure of the municipality and its local boards;
AND WHEREAS pursuant to the said Act, Section 8 (1) provides the powers of a
• municipality under this or any other Act shall be interpreted broadly so as to confer
broad authority on the municipality to enable the municipality to govern its affairs as
it considers appropriate and to enhance the municipality's ability to respond to
municipal issues;
AND WHEREAS Section 8 (1) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as
amended, authorizes the council of a municipality to appoint a planning advisory
committee composed of such members as the council may determine;
AND WHEREAS the governance structure of the Municipality of Kincardine is set
out in the Municipality's Procedure By -law;
AND WHEREAS By -law No. 2015 - 009 was passed on the 21st day of January 2015
to appoint elected representatives to various committees, boards and policy areas;
AND WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine
deems it expedient to amend the above noted by -law;
• NOW THEREFORE the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of
Kincardine ENACTS as follows:
1. That Section 1 of By -law No. 2015 — 009 be hereby amended to include:

Youth Waves Coalition Committee Jacqueline Faubert
2. This by -law shall come into full force and effect upon its final passage.
3. This by -law may be cited as the "Council Appointment Amendment (4)
(2015) By -law ".
