Home My WebLink About15 031 2015 Consolidated Rates & Fees Amendment (3) By-law THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE 1, .0._ KBT _ ,4470 /PAII @` BY -LAW NO. 2015 - 031 BEING A BY -LAW TO AMEND BY -LAW NO. 2014 -142; BEING A BYLAW TO ESTABLISH RATES AND FEES FOR SERVICES PERFORMED BY THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE WHEREAS Section 8 (1) and 9 of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25, as amended, provides that the powers of a municipality under this or any other Act shall be interpreted broadly so as to confer broad authority on the municipality to enable the municipality to govern its affairs as it considers appropriate and to enhance the municipality's ability to respond to municipal issues and a municipality has the capacity, rights, powers and privileges of a natural person for the purpose of exercising its authority under this or any other Act; AND WHEREAS Section 391 (1) of the said Municipal Act, 2001 authorizes a municipality to impose fees or charges on persons, for services or activities provided or done by or on behalf of it; AND WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine, with the passage of By -Law No. 2014 -142, established rates and fees for services performed by the Municipality; AND WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine deems it necessary to amend Schedule `D' of By -law No. 2014 -142 to include a fee for burial permits and Schedule `H' to amend the fees for Summer Day Camps and Arena Fees; . NOW THEREFORE the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine ENACTS as follows: 1. That Schedule `D' and Schedule `H' of the Municipality of Kincardine 2015 Consolidated Rates and Fees By -law No. 2014 -142 is hereby repealed and replaced with the attached Schedule `D' and Schedule `H'. 2. That this by -law shall come into full force and effect upon its final passage. 3. That this By -law may be cited as the "2015 Consolidated Rates & Fees Amendment (3) By -law ".
