That Amendment No. 8 to the Official Plan of the Municipality of • Kincardine, which is attached to and forms part of this By law, is hereby adopted. 2. That the Clerk is hereby directed to forward the adopted Amendment together with the necessary supporting documentation to the County of Bruce for final approval. 3. This By —law may be cited as the "OPA #8 to the Municipality of Kincardine Official Plan By -law" READ a FIRST and SECOND TIME this 11 day of June, 2014. L i'►vt Mayor Clerk • • i, 0 PART B — THE AMENDMENT INTRODUCTORY STATEMENT All of this part of the document entitled "Part B — The Amendment" and consisting of the following text and attached map designated as Schedule "A", constitutes Amendment No. 8 to the Official Plan of the Municipality of Kincardine. DETAILS OF THE AMENDMENT The Official Plan of the Municipality of Kincardine is proposed to be amended as follows: (1) Schedule "A" to the Municipality of Kincardine Official Plan is hereby amended by changing the land use designation on lands described as Lot 6, S/S Durham Market, Townplot of Penetangore, Municipality of Kincardine (geographic Town of Kincardine) from 'General Commercial' to 'Special Policy Area No. D2.5.13', as outlined in the attached Schedule "A". (2) Subsection D2.5 General Commercial Policies is further amended by adding the following text: 13. Notwithstanding Section D2.3 Permitted Uses, on those lands designated 'Special Policy Area No. D2.5.13' the municipality may, through its comprehensive zoning by-law, permit an apartment dwelling as a principle use.
