NO. 2014 - 022
BEING A BY -LAW TO ENTER INTO MEMORANDUMS OF UNDERSTANDING
WITH THE SENIOR MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES GROUP AND THE NON-
MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES GROUP OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF
KINCARDINE
WHEREAS Sections 8 (1) and 9 of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c.25, as
o amended, provide that the powers of a municipality under this or any other Act
shall be interpreted broadly so as to confer broad authority on the municipality to
enable the municipality to govern its affairs as it considers appropriate and to
enhance the municipality's ability to respond to municipal issues and has the
capacity, rights, powers and privileges of a natural person for the purpose of
exercising its authority under this or any other Act;
AND WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine
deems it expedient to enter into Memorandums of Understanding with the Senior
Management Employees Group and Non - Management Employees Group of the
Municipality of Kincardine to reflect the updated negotiation settlements;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine
ENACTS as follows:
1. That The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine enter into a
Memorandum of Understanding with the Senior Management Employees'
Group, attached hereto as Schedule 'A'.
• 2. That The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine enter into a
Memorandum of Understanding with the Non - Management Employees'
Group, attached hereto as Schedule
3. This by -law shall come into full force and effect upon its final passing.
4. This by -law may be cited as the "Senior Management Employees Group
and Non - Management Employees Group Memorandums of
Understanding (2014) By -law ".
READ a FIRST and SECOND TIME this 19th day of February, 2014.
READ a THIRD TIME and FINALLY PASSED this 19th day of February, 2014.

MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING 201
This MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING ( "Memorandum ") made in duplicate and
entered as of February 19, 2014 by and between:
MUNICPALITY OF KINCARDINE SENIOR MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES' GROUP
(the "Employees ")
- and -
THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE
(the "Municipality ")
AND WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine
deems it expedient to enter into a Memorandum with the Employees, to reflect the
updated negotiation settlements;
NOW THEREFORE the following will be effective January 1, 2014:
D SENIOR MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES' GROUP
Chief Administrative Officer to be included as a member of the Senior
Management group with respect to negotiations.
D WAGES - 2014 = 1.5%
2015 = 1.5% or CPI Protection up to 1.75%
D SAME BENEFITS NON - MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES' GROUP
Senior Managers shall receive the same benefits that non - management
received for years 2012 and 2013, including any future negotiation
amendments.
D TERM - Years 2014 and 2015
AND FURTHER THAT all existing negotiable terms of employment benefits shall
continue.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the parties hereto have executed this Memorandum forming
part of By -Law No. 2014 - OZ .

This MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING ( "Memorandum ") made in duplicate and

(the "Employees ")
- and -
THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE
(the "Municipality ")
AND WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine
deems it expedient to enter into a Memorandum with the Employees, to reflect the
updated negotiation settlements;
NOW THEREFORE the following will be effective January 1, 2014:
➢ PRESCRIPTION SAFETY GLASSES - coverage increased to $250 every
two years
➢ WAGES - 2014 = 1.5%
2015 = 1.5% or CPI Protection up to 1.75%
➢ CLOTHING ALLOWANCE - increased by $25.00
➢ VISION COVERAGE - vision coverage increased to maximum of $350
every 24 months
➢ TERM - Years 2014 and 2015
AND FURTHER THAT all existing negotiable terms of employment benefits shall
continue.
