HomeMy WebLinkAboutTWP 97 025 NO DATES , THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF KINCARDINE BY-LAW NO. 97-dS" Being a by-law to establish for the Corporation of the Township of Kincardine a complete road naming system. WHEREAS Section 210 (111) of the Municipal Act, RS.O. 1990, Chapter MA5 as amended, provides that a By-law may be passed to provide for surveying, settling and marking the boundary lines of highways and giving names to them or changing their names, and for affixing the names at the comers thereof, on public or private property. AND WHEREAS the Council ofthe Corporation ofthe Township of Kincardine deems it expedient and necessary to adopt road names for the Civic Addressing System and for other purposes including ttle delivery of emergency services and to provide authority to administration for its implementation; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Kincardine enacts as follows: 1. That the road allowance between Concessions 2 S.D.R and 3 S.D.R., extending from Lots 5 to 70, shall hereafter be called and known as "South Line" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. 2. That the road allowance between Concessions 2 N.D.R and 3 N.D.R., extending from Lots 1 to 70, shall hereafter be called and known as "North Line" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. 3. That the road allowance between Lake Range Concession, Lots 30 and 31, then extending between Concessions 4 and 5, from Lots 1 to 35, shall hereafter be called and known as "Concession 5" an~e said road is hereby named accordingly. / " 4. That the road allowance between Lots 40 and 41, in the Lake Range Concession, then extending between Concessions 6 and 7, from Lots 1 to 35, shall hereafter be called and known as "Concession 7" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. 5. That the road allowance between Concessions 8 and 9, extending from Lots 1 to 35, shall hereafter be called and known as "Concession 9" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. 6. That the road allowance between Concessions 10 and 11, extending from Lots 1 to 35, shall hereafter be called and known as "Concession 10" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. 7. That the road allowance between Concession 3 S.D.R., extending from Lots 5 to 30 and the Township Boundary of Huron, shall hereafter be called and known as "Huron-Kincardine West" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. 8. That the road allowance between Lots 5 and 6, extending from Concessions 4 to 12, shall hereafter be called and known as "Sideroad 5 North" and the said road 5 hereby named accordingly. 9. That the road allowance between Lots 1 0 and 11, extending through Concession 3 S.D.R, shall hereafter be called and known as "Sideroad 5 South" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. 10. That the road allowance between Lots 20 and 21, extending from Concessions 3 S.D.R to 3 N.D.R, then extending between Lots 10 and 11, from Concessions 4 to 12, shall hereafter be called and known as "Sideroad 10" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. 11. That the 1· ad allowance between Lots 30 and 31, extending through Concession 3 S.D.R., hall hereafter be called and known as "Side road 15 South" and the said road is h eby named accordingly. . 12. That the road allowance between Lots 30 and 31, extending from Concessions 1 S.D.R. to 3 N.D.R., then extending between lots 15 and 16, from Concessions 4 to 12, shall hereafter be called and known as "Side road 15 North" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. 13. That the road allowance between lots 40 and 41, extending from Concessions 1 N.D.R. to 3 N.D.R., then extending between lots 20 and 21, from Concessions 4 to 12 shall hereafter be called and known as "Sideroad 20" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. 14. That the road allowance between Lots 50 and 51, extending from Concessions 3 S.D.R. to 3 N.D.R., then extending between Lots 25 and 26, from Concessions 4 to 7, shall hereafter be called and known as ''Bervie Side road" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. · 15. That the road allowance between lots 25 and 26, extending from Concessions 8 to 10, shall hereafter be called and known as "Bervie Sideroad " and the said road is hereby named accordingly. 16. That the road allowance between Lots 60 and 61, extending from Concessions 3 S.D.R. to 3 N.D.R., then extending between Lots 30 and 31 from Concessions 4 to 8, shall hereafter be called and known as "Sideroad 30 South" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. 17. That the road allowance between Lots 30 and 31, extending from Concessions 11 to 12, shall hereafter be called and known as "Sideroad 30 North" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. 18. That the road allowance between Lot 70, extending from Concessions 3 S.D.R. to 3 N.D.R., then extending Lot 35, from Concessions 4 to 5 and the Township Boundary of Kinloss, shall hereafter be called and known as "Kincardine-Kinloss" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. 19. That the road allowance between Lots 20 and 21, extending west in the lake Range, shall hereafter be called and known as "Northline Extension" and the said · road is hereby named accordingly. 20. That the road allowance identified in Registered Plan 819 as Inverness North, shall hereafter be called and known as "Inverness North" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. 21. That the road allowance identified in Registered Plan 819 as Inverness South, shall hereafter be called and known as "Inverness South" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. 22. That the road allowance identified in Registered Plan 819 as Balemore Street, shall hereafter be called and known as "Balemore Street" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. 23. That the road allowance identified in Registered Plan 819 as Huron Ridge Crescent, shall hereafter be called and known as "Huron Ridge Crescent" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. · 24. That the road allowance identified in Registered Plans 789 and 819 as MacCaskill Road, shall hereafter be called and known as "MacCaskill Road" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. 25. That the road allowance identified in Registered Plan 819 as Glencoe Street, shall hereafter be called and known as "Glencoe Street" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. . 26. That the road allowance identified in Registered Plans 789 and 819 as Inverlyn Crescent South, shall hereafter be called and known as "Inverlyn Crescent South" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. 27. That the road allowance identified in Registered Plans 789 and 819 as Inverlyn Crescent North, shall hereafter be called and known as "Inverlyn Crescent North" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. 28. That the road allowance identified in Registered Plan 789 as Riggin Crescent, shall hereafter be called and known as "Riggin Crescent" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. 29. That the road allowance identified in Registered Plan 819 as Wilson Crescent, shall hereafter be called and known as 'Wilson Crescent" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. 30. That the road allowance identified in Registered Plan 819 as Golf Links Road, shall hereafter be called and known as "Golf Links Road" and the said road is hereby . named accordingly. 31. That the road allowance extending between the Town of Kincardine and Lot 20, in Concession A, then extending north in Lot 20, in Concession A, shall hereafter be called and known as "Golf Course Trail" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. 32. That the road allowance identified in Registered Plan 819 as Lower Beach Road, shall hereafter be called and known as "Lower Beach Road" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. 33. That the road allowance identified in Registered Plan 789 and 819, extending south in Part lot 18, shall hereafter be called and known as "Gingras Street" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. . 34. That the road allowance extending south in Part Lot 19, in Concession A, shall hereafter be called and known as "Sandy Crescent" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. 35. That the road allowance extending in Part Lot 20, in Concession A, shall hereafter be called and known as "MacGregor Beach Road" and the said road is hereby named accordingly. 36.
