Home My WebLink About12 107 Traffic and Parking Amendment (8) By-law THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE MU' • '^Mrrvax BY -LAW NO. 2012 -107 BEING A BY -LAW TO AMEND BY -LAW NO. 2009 -006 - BEING A BY -LAW TO REGULATE TRAFFIC AND PARKING IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE • WHEREAS the Municipal Act, S.O. 2001, c. 25 as amended, Sections 11(3) and 27(1), gives lower tier municipalities the power to pass by -laws within the sphere of jurisdiction dealing with highways; including parking and traffic; AND WHEREAS Section 245(1) of the said Municipal Act, authorizes a municipality to pass by -laws providing that a person who contravenes the by -law is guilty of an offence; AND WHEREAS the Highway Traffic Act, R.S.O., 1990, c. H.8 and the regulations made thereunder permit the councils of local municipalities to regulate traffic and parking; AND WHEREAS the Motorized Snow Vehicles Act, R.S.O.,1990, c. M.44 permit the councils of local municipalities to pass by -laws regulating, governing or prohibiting the operation of motorized snow vehicles within the municipality, including any highways therein or any part or parts thereof; AND WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine • passed, on January 21 2009 By -law No. 2009 - 006 being a By -law to Regulate Traffic and Parking in the Municipality of Kincardine; AND WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine deems it necessary to amend Schedule 'B' — No Parking, of By -law No. 2009 - 006; NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine ENACTS as follows: 1. That Schedule 'B', of By -law No. 2009 — 006; the By -law to Regulate Traffic and Parking in the Municipality of Kincardine, be hereby repealed and replaced with the attached Schedule. 2.
