VEHICLES F'RCM STA'lUIœY SPEED LIMITS
WHEREAS subsection 2 of section 109 of The Highway Traffic Act
(R.S.O. 1980, Chapter 198) authorizes the council of a municipality
and the trustees of a police village by by-law te prescribe a speed
limit of 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 or 100 kilametres per hour for
lOOter vehicles driven on any highway or portion of highway
under its jurisdiction;
AND WHEREAS it is deaœd expedient that the speed of lOOter vehicles
on certain highways in the Corporation of the Township of Kincardine
be restricted;
NCM THERE:E'C!m the Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Kincardine enacts as follows:
1. When any highway or portion of highway set out below
is marked in canpliance with the regulations under The
Highway Traffic Act, the maxinn.m rate of speed thereon
shall be 40 kilametres per hour.
Part Lots 25 and 26, Concession A designated as:
Craig Drive on Registered Plan 3Ml02
Dawson Drive on Registered Plan 3Ml02
2. The penal ties provided in subsection 13 of section 109
of The HigtMay Traffic Act shall apply te offences against
this by-law.
Read a First, Second and Third Time, and finally passed this
5th day of July, 1989.
