TOWNSHIP OF KINCARDINE
BY-LAW 91-16
(Provisional)
A By-Law to provide for a cleanout of the Kincardine-Kinloss
Municipal Drain Main Drain, in the Township of Kincardine in
the County of Bruce under Section 75, of the Drainage Act,
R.S.O. 1980.
And WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Kincardine in the County of Bruce has received a request for
a cleanout on the Main Drain of the Kincardine-Kinloss Municipal
Drain, Township of Kincardine.
And WHEREAS the Drainage Superintendent for the Corporation of
the Township of Kincardine has inspected the drain and has
reported to Council that in his opinion the following work is
required:
Cleanout silt from the bottom of the Main Drain of the
Kincardine Kinloss Municipal Drain and to spread spoils
And WHEREAS the estimated total cost of the work is $5,000.00
Kinloss Twp Portion - $2,834.50 Kincardine Twp Portion - $2,165.5
And WHEREAS the Council is of the opinion that the drainage
of the area is desirable;
THEREFORE the Council of the Corporûtion of the 'I'ownship of
Kincardine pursuant to the Drainage Act, R.S.O. 1980, enacts
as follows:
I. The Drainage Superintendent's Report is hereby adopted
and the drainage works as therein indicated and set
forth is hereby authorized and shall be completed in
accordance therewith.
2. The cost of the repair shall be assessed in accordance
with By-Law 86-21.
3. NOW THEREFORE, the Municipal Council of the Township of
Kincardine, pursuant to the Drainage Act, R.S.O. 1980,
authorizes the required cleanout.
4. This By-Law comes into force on the passing thereof and
may be cited as "The 1991 Kincardine Kinloss Municipal
Drain Cleanout Bylaw".
