Home My WebLink About12 063 "DEFEATED" Traffic and Parking Amendment (8) By-law THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE K: T -y • it ��W�Ct7 �1 Ate BY-LAW NO.2012 - 063 BEING A BY -LAW TO AMEND BY -LAW NO. 2009-006 - BEING A BY -LAW TO REGULATE TRAFFIC AND PARKING IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE WHEREAS the Municipal Act, S.O. 2001, c. 25 as amended, Secs 11(3) and 27(1), gives lower tier municipalities the power to pass by -laws withlnthe sphere of jurisdiction dealing with highways; including parking and traffic; • AND WHEREAS Section 245(1) of the said Municipal Act, authores a municipality to pass by -laws providing that a person who contravendsghe by -law is guilty of an offence; AND WHEREAS the Highway Traffic Act, R.S O.; 41)90, c H.8 and the regulations made thereunder permit the councils of lot* municipalities to regulate traffic and parking; AND WHEREAS the Council of The s oration oft* Municipality of Kincardine passed, on January 21 20Q-t3y -Iawts 2001 ki 6 being a By -law to Regulate Traffic and Parking in the Municipal at Kincardine; AND WHEREAS the CounclOtThe betration of the Municipality of Kincardine deems it necessary to amend Schedule 'N' - Intersection Stop Signs of By -law No 2009 - 006, NOW THEREMRE, the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardi • 1 , That Schedul'N' of By -law No 2009 - 006; the By -law to Regulate Ttieffic and Peking in the Municipality of Kincardine, be hereby repealed antd:'placed with the attached Schedule that will include: Highway Intersecting At Travelling Lambton St. Princes St. East and West 2. This By -law shall come into full force and effect upon its final passage. 3. This By -law may be cited as the "Traffic and Parking Amendment (8) By -law".
