Home My WebLink About10 149 Traffic and Parking Amendment (6) By-law THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE 4xe cWT - • t *4 mp BY-LAW NO. 2010 -149 BEING A BY -LAW TO AMEND BY -LAW NO. 2009-006 - BEING A BY -LAW TO REGULATE TRAFFIC AND PARKING IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE WHEREAS the Municipal Act, S.O. 2001, c. 25 as amended, Sections 11(3) and 27(1), gives lower tier municipalities the power to pass by -laws within the sphere • of jurisdiction dealing with highways; including parking and traffic; AND WHEREAS Section 245(1) of the said Municipal Act, authorizes a municipality to pass by -laws providing that a person who contravenes the by -law is guilty of an offence; AND WHEREAS the Highway Traffic Act, R.S.O., 1990, c. H.8 and the regulations made thereunder permit the councils of local municipalities to regulate traffic and parking; AND WHEREAS the Motorized Snow Vehicles Act, R.S.O.,1990, c. M.44 permit the councils of local municipalities to pass by -laws regulating, governing or prohibiting the operation of motorized snow vehicles within the municipality, including any highways therein or any part or parts thereof; AND WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine passed, on January 21 2009 By -law No. 2009 - 006 being a By -law to Regulate Traffic and Parking in the Municipality of Kincardine; • AND WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine deems it necessary to amend Schedule 'B' — No Parking, Schedule 'F' — Loading Zone and Schedule 'P' — No U Turns, of By -law No. 2009 - 006; NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine ENACTS as follows: 1. That Schedule 'B', 'F', and 'P' of By -law No. 2009 — 006; the By -law to Regulate Traffic and Parking in the Municipality of Kincardine, be hereby repealed and replaced with the attached Schedules. 2. This By -law shall come into full force and effect upon its final passage. 3.
