CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF KINCARDINE
BY-LAW NO. 4686
WHEREAS it is provided by the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980,
Chapter 302, Section 209(10) that the council of a local
municipality may acquire land in the municipality or in
any adjacent or an adjoining territory without municipal
organization, or may acquire by lease or otherwise, an
existing aerodrome in any municipality or in any territory
without municipal organization.
AND WHEREAS the Town of Kincardine and the Township of Kin-
cardine proposes to acquire from John Harvey Ackert the lands
described in Schedule "A" attached hereto.
THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Kincardine ENACTS as follows:
1. That the said Corporation do acquire the said lands
described in Schedule "A" attached hereto from John
Harvey Ackert for the sum of sixteen thousand, two
hundred and fifty-four ($16,254.00) dollars.
2. The mayor and clerk of the said Corporation are hereby
authorized to execute such documents incidental to
such acquisitions under the seal of the said Corporation
as may be required or deemed advisable in the opinion
of the said Corporation's solicitor.
READ a FIRST and SECOND time this 19th day of September, 1985

BY-LAW 4686
SCHEDULE "A"
ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and
premises, situate, lying and being in the Township of Kincar-
dine in the County of Bruce and being composed of Part of
Lot 26, Concession "A" or Lake Range and being a strip of land
approximately 34 metres wide as more particularly described
as outlined in red on the plan of the Kincardine Town and
Township Airport as prepared by Paragon Engineering Limited
dated July, 1985, being 12.5 acres more or less and attached
as Schedule "B".
