BY-LAW NO. 1989-58

BBING A BY-LAW TO PROVIDB FOR ROLBS AJiJD REGOLATIONS
CONCERNING THB BLOBNATBR TRAILER PARK.
WHEREAS the Council for The Corporation of the Town of Kincardine
has assumed the operation of the Bluewater Trailer park;
AND WHBRBAS it is necessary to establish certain rules and
regulations in order to ensure that it operates in an orderly
fashion to the benefit of the public and the users;
NOW THBRBFORB The Council of The Corporation of the Town of
Kincardine BNACTS as follows:
1. The rules and regulations hereto attached as Schedule "A"
and entitled "Rules and Regulations" are hereby adopted and
applied to the Bluewater Trailer Park, being the trailer
park owned by the Town of Kincardine on certain lands in the
said Town, such lands described as Lots 5 to a, Plan 335, on
the east side of Saugeen Street (2.09 acres), and any
persons using such lands shall do so in accordance herewith,
and no person shall use such lands except in accordance
herewith.
2. The annual fees for the use of the Bluewater Trailer Park
shall be established each year by resolution of Council.
3. No person shall contravene any of the provisions outlined in
Schedule "A" attached.
4. Every person who contravenes any of the provisions of this
by-law is guilty of an offence and shall, upon conviction
thereof, forfeit and pay a penalty of not more than
$2,000.00 for each offence, exclusive of costs, and every
such fine is recoverable under the provincial Offenses Act.
5. All provisions of this by-law may be enforced by police
officers throughout the judicial district of the Town of
Kincardine. By-law enforcement officers and the Town of
Kincardine Bluewater Trailer Park attendants shall enforce
all provisions of this by-law.
6. This by-law shall come into full force and effect on the
date of its final passage.

All persons shall check out of the park by 12:00 noon.
No person shall operate a vehicle in excess of 5 km. per
hour on all trailer park roads.
Every person shall register and pay rental in advance before
occupying a site.
No person shall temporarily remove any trailer during the
season or change sites unless first having obtained the park
attendant's approval.
5. No person shall have a camp fire unless it is confined in a
container or containment area approved by the park
attendant.
6. No person shall be permitted more than one vehicle per
trailer park site.
7. Imprope r conduct by any pe rson or v is i tor disturbing or
objectionable to other campers will not be tolerated. Such
conduct will result in eviction from the camp, without
refund. All parties, music, T.V., singing, etc. must be
kept within reasonable sound levels at all times. All noise
shall cease by 11:00 p.m, and all visitors not remaining
overnight shall be required to leave the park by 11:00 p.m.
8. The Town of Kincardine reserves the right to eject person or
persons for undesirable conduct.
9. Pets shall be kept under the control of owners at all times.
Owners are responsible for removal of excrement in the camp
grounds.

No person shall mark or deface, cause damage,
fittings or other property from any building. No

11. All buildings and washrooms are for the convenience of the
l campers and shall be kept in a clean and tidy manner. No
person shall allow their children to play in any building or
washroom.
12. No person shall move or remove any lot markers or stakes at
any time.
13. No person shall operate motor bikes or mini-bikes in the
park except for essential transportation purposes.
14. Essential emergency calls for campers; i.e. sickness or
accident, will be received by the park office telephone or
by the Kincardine Police Department after regular park
hours.
15. No person shall sub-let any site.

16. The Town is not responsible for loss or damage to any
camping unit or personal property. Coolers, stoves and all
valuables shall be kept inside the unit upon retiring or
when left unattended.

17. Season Rentals:
Reservations on season lots shall be on a first-come, first-
served basis. A $25.00 deposit will reserve a site. The
deposit will be refunded only if the Town is notified in
writing by March 31st.
All rentals become due and payable on May 15th. Deadline
for payment is May 31st. Unpaid rentals as of June 30th
shall be retroactively charged the prevailing monthly rates.
18. Trailer Park Season:
The trailer park shall not be occupied by any person on a
continuing basis from October 31st to May 15th in any year.
19. Camping units and appurtenances may be stored on the site
from October 31st to May 15th in any year upon payment of
the prevailing storage fee.
20. No person shall keep or store refridgerators outside the
camping unit.
21. No person shall erect or construct any

22. The maximum length allowable for a travel trailer or camper
unit on any trailer park site is 10.66 meters (35 feet)
measured from the rear bumper to the front bumper or tip of
the tongue.
23. Every person shall maintain their respective sites in a
clean and tidy condition.
24. No person shall remove any picnic table from any site.
25. The park's facilities and garbage receptacles shall be for
the use of registered campers only.
