THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF KINCARDINE
BY-LAW
BY-LAW NO. 1991-38
A BY-LAW TO APPOINT BRENDA LANCE AS PERMANENT FULL-TIME
AQUATICS DIRECTOR FOR THE TOWN OF KINCARDINE.
WHEREAS Section 208, paragraph 45 of the Municipal Act,
R.S.O. 1980, Chapter 302, as amended, provides for the Council
of a local municipality to appoint such officers and servants
as may be necessary for the purposes of the corporation.

of Kincardine deems it expedient to appoint

NOW THEREFORE the Council for The Corporation of the Town
of Kincardine ENACTS as follows:
1. That Brenda Lance shall be appointed as Aquatics
Director for the Town of Kincardine.
2. That subject to any limitations prescribed by law or
agreed to by Council, Brenda Lance shall hold office
during the pleasure of Council and, while holding such
office, shall be paid within the salary range for
Aquatics Director established on Schedule "I" of By-law
No. 1990-88. This range may be replaced by by-law of
Council in future years.
3. The exact salary of Brenda Lance shall be adopted ~y
resolution of Council within the range established ~n
paragraph 2 of this by-law and shall be kept
confidential.
4. That the duties and responsibili ties of the Aquatics
Director shall be in accordance with Schedule "H" of the
Job Description By-law, No. 1990-67 or any successor
by-law.
5. The posi t.io,n of Aquatics Director shall be subj ect to
the prov~s~ons of the Town's Consolidated Personnel
By-law and other legitimate personnel related policies
of Council, the administration and supervisors.
6. Brenda Lance shall be classified as a permanent,
full-time employee.
That all by-laws not consistent with this by-law be and
the same are hereby repealed.
8. That this by-law shall come into full force and effect
as of April 22, 1991.

This by-law may be cited as the "Brenda Lance as
Aquatics Director Appointment By-law".
