Re: Kincardine Klassics Gymnastics Club and Agricultural Society - pavillion Additions Dear Mr Burley and Mrs Couture, Following our three way meeting last Tuesday with reps from the Agricultural Society, Town, and Klassics, to open and review the tenders for the Pavilion addition, we have agreed as discussed to proceed with letting the contract for the addition. This is on the basis of the drawings and specifications as reviewed, and the tenders as submitted. We understand the lowest tender, Bruce woods, is awarded the job providing it meets all required specifications and codes. We understand also that the Town wishes to have the Klassics portion of the funding for the storage shed advanced to the Town in advance of the work starting. The Klassics are prepared to do this on the understanding that any funds advanced in excess of the amount required for the Klassics portion of the contract are used as agreed by the Klassics for building improvements, as per the commitments made to the sponsors and fundraisers who provided the money, and as approved by our membership. We further understand that Ron Bolton has been appointed as project manager by the Town, and we request that the Klassics be notified and agree in advance of any Signific:it~ o~ additions. ~ A Lowe, President Kincardine Klassics cc: Committee reps (Society/Town/Klassics) R Bolton, Parks/Bldg Manager K Davidson, Rec Director Klassics Executive 9509TOWN.LT1 (R1)
