THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF KINCARDINE
BY-LAW
BY-LAW NO. 1995-26
A BY-LAW TO APPOINT PATRICIA WATSON AS SCHOOL CROSSING
GUARD FOR THE TOWN OF KINCARDINE.
WHEREAS section 207, paragraph 45 of The Municipal Act,
R.S.O. 1990, Chapter M.45, provides for the Council of a
local municipality to appoint such officers and servants as
may be necessary for the purposes of the corporation;
AND WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Town of
Kincardine deems it expedient to appoint a school crossing
guard for the Town of Kincardine;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of The Corporation of the Town of
Kincardine ENACTS as follows:
1. That Patricia Watson shall be appointed as school
crossing guard for the Town of Kincardine.
2. That subject to any limitations prescribed by law or
agreed to by Council, Patricia Watson shall hold
office and while holding such office, shall be paid
within the Salary Range number 3 of Schedule "B" of
By-law No. 1995-17. This range may be replaced by
by-law of Council in future years.
The exact salary of Patricia Watson shall be adopted
by resolution of Council within the range established
in paragraph 2 of this by-law.

That the duties and responsibilities of the
crossing guard shall be in accordance with
Description By-Law.

5. The position of school crossing guard shall be subject
to the provisions of the Town's Consolidated Personnel
By-law and other legitimate personnel related policies
of Council, the administration, and supervisors.
6. Patricia Watson shall be classified as a permanent
part-time employee.
7. That all by-laws not consistent with this by-law be
and the same are hereby repealed.

This By-law shall come into full force and effect as
of April 24, 1995.

This by-law ay be cited as the "Patricia Watson as
school Crossing Guard Appointment By-law".
READ a FIRST, SECOND and THIRD TIME and FINALLY PASSED this
20th day of April, 1995.
