THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF KINCARDINE
BY-LAW
BY-LAW NO. 1997-20
A BY-LAW TO EXEMPT THE SESQUICENTENNIAL REUNION COMMI'l"l'EE
FROM THE PROVISIONS OF BYLAW 2122, AS AMENDED, IN RESPECT
OF THE SALE AND USE OF FIREWORKS AND FIRECRACKERS.
WHEREAS By-law 2122, as amended, was passed on the 19th day of
January 1970 to regulate the sale and use of fireworks and
firecrackers in the Town of Kincardine;
AND WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Town of
Kincardine wishes to exempt the Sesquicentennial Reunion
Committee from certain provisions of the said by-law to allow
for the sale and use of fireworks for an inclusive period of
July 23 to August 04, 1998 as part of Kincardine's
Sesquicentennial celebrations;
NOW THEREFORE the Council for The Corporation of the Town of
Kincardine ENACTS as follows:
1. That By-law 2122, as amended by By-law 4743, be further
amended to allow the Sesquicentennial Reunion Committee
to sell and use fireworks from July 23 to August 04, 1998
inclusive.
2.
That all other provisions of By-law 2122, as amended by
Bylaw 4743, remain in full force and effect.
3.
Every person who contravenes any provisions of
by-law is guilty of an offence and is subject to
penalties as prescribed in the provincial Offences
R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.33.
