, WHEREAS the Oorporation of the Town of Kinoardine did by its bY-lar
nO.442,passed on the l;th of January A.D.1902.grant to James B.watsof'

his suooessors and assign&,exemption from all Kunioipal ~axes (exoe~
sohool taxes and looal improvement rates) in oonneotion with the !
lands and premises used by him in oarrying on his business as a fur-\
niture manufaoturer,whioh lands and premises are more partioularly
hereinafter desoribedM,and the building thereon,and the stoot,land

and maohinery used in oarrying on said business;for a period of ten I
years; i
AND WHEREAS the said Oorporation did by its by-law no.806,passed

on the 9th day of January 1922,grant to the J.E.Ooombe Furniture 00'1\
Ltd.the suooesaors to the said James B.Watson,exemption from all B:ir
of Kunioipal Taxas over the amount of $400.00 or of the yearly rate ,\
I
for sohool taxes,whiohever should be the larger.1n oonneotion with I
the lands and premises ussd by the said Comp&.n1 in oarrying on its I
business as a furniture manufaoturer;

AID WHEREAS the said terms have expired;
AND WHEREAS it is providod by ~he Bonus Limitation Act

1924,. that
by-laws may be passed by the,Oounoils of 10081 Munioipalities for
fixing the assessment of the property of any person oarrying on or
proposing to oarry on within the Kunioip81ity &.n1 manufaoturing
businesa;

AND WHEREAS in his appl1oat1ori for the said bonus said James B. ~
Watson made oerta.1n repreaentations and agreements to be performed 1'1
by him in oonslderatlon of said bonus,and the said Oomp&.n1,his 8UOO-~
