A By-Law to irohibit Doge running at lurr,o.
WjL it is provided by the Dog Tax and Shoop Protoction Act,
it.3.0.1927,Chap.300,7ec.6,that oounoils of towns may paes by -laws for
prohibiting the running at large of doge;

(1) That no dog or dogs shall be pormittod to run at largo with-
in the limits of the Corporation of th�ec own of Kinoi,rdine and shall
be kept securely tied or closed up p� th�e o�r / timers ft all times
(unless on leach)
(2) Any dog found running at large contrary to thin by -law may be
seized and impounded and killed or seized and killed without being
Impounded by the Chief of Police of the said Corporation,or undor his
ordor and dirootion.
(3) For the purposo of thin by -law,a dog shall be doomed to be
running at large when found in a highway or other public place and
and not under the control of any person.

A By -Law to authorize the construction of a concrete sidewalk upon
the West aide of Queen Stroet in the Town of Kincurdine,from Gordon
Street to Albert Street;
Thomas Y.eyos,R.Lverick rind others have petitioned the
Council of the Corporation of the Town of Kinoardine,to conotruct,as a
100;.:1 improvement,the work hereinFifter described,namel��y oncrete
aidewallc upon the went aide of C on Street,from the nolFaide of
Gordon Street to the 00411mit of Albert Street in the said
Town O X Zinourdino;
the Clerk has certified that the said petition is
au.gficient and it is expedient to grant the prayer of the petition in
manner hereinafter provided;

(l) That a concrete sidewa e constructed upon the west silo of
Qu3on Street,from the �oic$he limit bf Gordon Street to the ou herj
limit of Albert Stroot,said sidewalk to be five feet in width and to
be constructed as a Zooid Improvement under the Provisions of the Loo,.l
Improvement Act.
(Z) ghat L1�61 ' appointed as ;Znginecr,and the Cleric
do forthwi h mulc0 ouch plana,profiles and specifiontions and furnish
such information as may be necessary for the making of a contract for
the exeoution of the work.
(3) That the work shall be o:.trried on find executed under the euporin.

(g) The Mayor and Clerk are authorized to oauoe a contract for the
00n3traction of the work to be made and entered into with come person
or persons,firm or corporatior.,subject to the approval of the Council
to be declared by resolution.
(b) The Treasuror may (subject to the approval -of the Council) agree
with :,ny Manic or person for temporary aGvanoes of money to meet the
coat of the work pending the oomrletion of it.

the cost of the work when completed shall be §r interest at five per

cent per annum and be made payable within M years on the inetalment
plan.and in settling the eum to be raised annually to pay the debt,
the rate of interest on investments shall not be estimated at more
than four per cent per annum.
8. Any person whose lot is epeoially accessed may oommute for a pay-
ment in oaeh,the special rates imposed thereon,by paying the portion
of the coat of construction aeeceeed upon each lot,without the inter-
est,forthwith after the special Aseseement Moll has been certified by
the Olork.and at any time thereafter by the payment of such a eum as
when invested at four per cent per annum will provide an annuity suff-
ioient to pay the special rates for the unexpired portion of the term
as they fall due.
(9) Of the total cost of the sidewalk sixty per cent shall be charge-
able to the owners of the land abutting directly on the work and forty
per cent thereof to the said Corporation. 4V ////
