HomeMy WebLinkAbout03 094 tender lighthouse paint e e e e TIlE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINC INE BY-LAW NO. 2003 - 94 BEING A BY-LAW TO ACCEPT A TENDER TO SCRAPE AND PAINT THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE LlGHTHOUS (Ontario Factory Coatings) WHEREAS Section 8 of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25 bestows municipalities with the capacity, rights, powers and privileges of a natural person for the purpose of exercising its authority; J AND WHEREAS the Council for The Corporation of the Municip lity of Kincardine deems it expedient to accept a tender to paint and scrap the Kincardine Lighthouse; ! I NOW THEREFORE the Council for The Corporation of th~ Municipality of Kincardine ENACTS as follows: I 1. That the tender of Ontario Factory Coatings in the amo~nt of $22,684.00 including all applicable taxes, be hereby accepted. 2. That the Mayor and CAO be hereby authorized to sign, on behalf of the Council for The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine any contracts and other documents required to authorize such work to c mmence. 3. This by-law shall come into full force and effect upon its fj al passage. 4. This by-law may be cited as the "Lighthouse Painting T nder Acceptance By-law".
