THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINC INE
BY-LAW
NO. 2003 - 92
BEING A BY-LAW TO ACCEPT A TENDER FOR DECK REP RS, CONCRETE
OVERLAY, DRAINS, WATERPROOFING AND PAVING OF BRIDGES ON
CONCESSION 7 AND SIDEROAD 15 N, WARD 2
MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE
(Theo Vandenberk Construction Ltd.)
WHEREAS Section 44 of the Municipal Act, 2001 SO 2001, 25 authorizes a
municipality that has jurisdiction over a bridge to keep it in a st te of reasonable
repair; ~
AND WHEREAS it has been determined that bridges located n Concession 7
and Sideroad 15 N in Ward 2 of the Municipality of Kincardine re uire repairs;
AND WHEREAS the Council for The Corporation of the Municipllity of Kincardine
deems it expedient to accept a tender for bridge deck repairs, r
NOW THEREFORE the Council for The Corporation of th Municipality of
Kincardine ENACTS as follows:
1. That the tender of Thea Vandenberk Construction Ltd. in the amount of
$95,797.10, including all applicable taxes, be herebyacc pted.
2.
That the Mayor and CAO be hereby authorized to sign, on behalf of the
Council for The Corporation of the Municipality of Kinca ine any contracts
and other documents required to authorize such work to mmence, and to
affix the corporate seal of The Municipality of Kincardine.
3. This by-law shall come into full force and effect upon its fi al passage..
4. This by-law may be cited as the "Concession 7 & Side oad 15 (Ward 2)
Bridge Deck Repairs, Tender Acceptance By-law".
READ a FIRST, SECOND and THIRD time and DEEMED TO BE PASSED 9th
day of July, 2003.
