HomeMy WebLinkAboutKIN 98 044 Amend No. 96 96 · · · · THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF KINCARDINE BY-LA W BY-LAW NO. 1998 - 44 A BY-LAW TO AMEND THE TOWN OF KINCARDINE CONSOLIDATED PERSONNEL BY-LAW WHEREAS By-law No. 1996-96, amended by By-law 1997-28 was passed on the 19th day of December, 1996 to consolidate and establish personnel policies for the employees of the Town of Kincardine: AND WHEREAS the Council for The Corporation of the Town of Kincardine deems it expedient to amend the By-law; NOW THEREFORE the Council for The Corporation of the Town of Kincardine ENACTS as follows: 1. That Schedule "A" of By-law No. 1996-96, amended by By-law No. 1997-28, passed on the 19th day of December 1996 be hereby repealed and replaced with the attached Schedule "A". 2. That Schedule "M" of By-law No. 1996-96, amended by By-law No. 1997-28, passed on the 19th day of December 1996 be hereby repealed and replaced with the attached Schedule "B". 3. That this by-law shall come into full force and effect upon its final passage and be retroactive to August 24th, 1998. 4. That this By-law may be cited as the "The Town of Kincardine Consolidated Personnel Amendment By-law, September 1998" READ a FIRST and SECOND time this 3rd day of September, 1998. READ a THIRD time and FINALLY PASSED this 3rd day of September, 1998. THE TOWN OF KINCARDINE CONSOLIDATED PERSONNEL AMENDMENT BY-LAW, SEPTEMBER, 1998 SCHEDULE "M" TOWN OF KINCARDINE STAND-BY REMUNERATION Effective date: August 24th, 1998 a) Outside Maintainers - Public Works $45.00 per week if on stand-by. Stand-by to be in effect from December 1st to March 31st annually. b) Waste Water TreatmentlWater Treatment Employees and Public Works Supervisor or Acting Public Works Supervisor . $60.00 per week if on stand-by. Stand-by to be in effect from January 1 st to December 31 st annually. Notes 1. Maximum of one waste water treatment system employee, one water treatment employee and two public works employees to be on stand-by in anyone week, not including the public works supervisor. 2. The manager of Public Works may require stand-by shifts for outside maintainers outside the months of December to March should conditions warrant. 3. For clarification, the Acting Public Works Supervisor in section b), is defined as the public works employee chosen to be on call for a specific week. 4. The $60.00 per week rate reflects a supervisory responsibility or a certified employee (MOEE certification) and the $45.00 per week rate represents an uncertified employee. . .
