A BY-LAW TO ACCEPT A TENDER FOR THE DURHAM STREET
EXTENSION AND CANADIAN TIRE CORPORATION SITE SERVICING
- PROJECT # 98200 - Contract No.2
WHEREAS the Council for The Corporation of the Township of Kincardine-Bruce-
Tiverton deems it expedient to accept a tender for the Durham Street Extension
and Canadian Tire Corporation Site Servicing;
NOW THEREFORE the Council for The Corporation of the Township of
Kincardine-Bruce-Tiverton ENACTS as follows:
1. That the tender of Ken Jackson Construction in the amount of $174,070.62
including all applicable taxes, be hereby accepted subject to approval by
B.M. Ross & Associates.
2. That all site grading work for the Canadian Tire Site be held in abeyance
until finalization of closing plans by the Canadian Tire Corporation.
3. That the mayor and clerk be hereby authorized to sign, on behalf of the
Council for The Corporation of the Township of Kincardine-Bruce-Tiverton
any contracts and other documents required to authorize such work to
commence, and to affix the corporate seal of The Township of Kincardine-
Bruce-Tiverton.
4. This by-law shall come into full force and effect upon its final passage.
5. This by-law may be cited as the "Site Servicing - Canadian Tire (Contract
No.2), Tender Acceptance, By-law".
READ a FIRST, SECOND and THIRD TIME and FINALLY PASSED this
11 th day of August, 1999.
