DATEr£¿ . , Þ- ð I t.J, :J. nt) ..¡ A BYLAW TO ESTABLISH RATES AND FEES FOR THE SERVICES PERFORMED BY THE MUNICIPALITY . WHEREAS pursuant to section 55 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990 Chapter M. 45, as amended, provides authority for municipal councils to establish rates and fees for services provided by the Municipality. WHEREAS the Municipal Act, 2001 SO 2001, c25 comes into effect on January 1st, 2003. AND WHEREAS Council deems it advisable to replace the existing water and sewer fees in By-Law No. 2002-24 as amended. NOW THEREFORE the Council for The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine ENACTS as follows: 1. That the Council of the Municipality of Kincardine does now set the rates and fees for services described in the Schedule 'A' Landfill Site Fees, Schedule "B" Sewer Rates and Schedule "C" Water Rates, attached to and forming part of this by-law. 2. e 3. 4. 5. That this by-law will replace the existing water and sewer fees in By-Law No. 2002-24, as amended. This by-law shall supercede any other by-law inconsistent with the provisions in this by-law. That this by-law shall come into full force and effect upon its final passage. That this By-law shall be known as the ·Consolidated Waste, Sewer and Water Rates and Fees By-law, 2002". (ii) Property owner is responsible for the installation and costs related to the connection from the property line to the building. iii) In lieu of b i) and b ii) homeowner pays contractor to install lateral from sewer main to building and requires inspection by Municipality.
