THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE
BY-LAW
NO. 2006 - 106
BEING A BY-LAW TO RENAME A MUNICIPAL ROAD UNDER THE
MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE ROAD SYSTEM
WHEREAS the Municipal Act, 2001, 5.0. 2001, c. 25, Section 11, as amended,
gives lower tier municipalities the power to pass by-laws within the sphere of
jurisdiction dealing with highways;
AND WHEREAS the Municipal Act, 2001,5.0. 2001,c.25 Sections 8 and 9 (1)
provides municipalities with powers of a natural person to enable them to govern
their affairs as they consider appropriate under this or any other Act and to
enhance their ability to respond to municipal issues;
AND WHEREAS the Corporation of The Municipality of Kincardine deems it
necessary to rename the road known as Bruce-Saugeen Road (Bruce Road 11);
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of
Kincardine ENACTS as follows:
1. That the name of the roadway located in Ward 3 of the Municipality of
Kincardine and known as Bruce Saugeen Road (Bruce Road 11), Road
West of North Bruce to Lake Huron, be changed to Bruce-Saugeen
Townline.
2.
That certain municipal house numbers, as shown on the attached
Schedule "A" to this by-law, be changed for the purpose of uniformity.
3. This by-law shall come into full force and effect upon its final passing.
4. This may be cited as the "Bruce Saugeen Townline Renaming By-Law".
READ a FIRST, SECOND and THIRD time and FINALLY PASSED this 21st day
of June, 2006.
