A BY-LAW TO APPOINT BRENDA FRENCH AS MUNICIPAL
TREASURER FOR THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE

WHEREAS Section 207, paragraph 45 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990,
Chapter MA5 provides for the Council of a local municipality to appoint such
officers and servants as may be necessary for the purposes of the corporation.
AND WHEREAS The Council for The Corporation of the Municipality of
Kincardine deems it advisable to appoint a Municipal Treasurer for the
Municipality of Kincardine;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of
Kincardine ENACTS as follows:
1. That Brenda French be appointed as Municipal Treasurer for The
Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine effective February 14, 2000.
2. That subject to any limitations prescribed by law or agreed by Council,
Brenda French shall hold office during the pleasure of Council.
3. That the position of Municipal Treasurer shall be subject to all legitimate
personnel related by-laws and policies of the Council of The Municipality
of Kincardine.
e 4. That By-law 1999-04 be repealed.
5. That this by-law shall come into full force and effect as of February 14,
2000.
6. That this by-law mày be cited as the "Brenda French as Municipal
Treasurer, Appointment By-law".
READ a FIRST, SECOND and THIRD time and DEEMED TO BE PASSED this
9th day of February, 2000.
