HomeMy WebLinkAbout06 080 Amend 06-069 taxation e e e e THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE .8T BY-LAW NO. 2006 - 080 BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NO. 2006 - 069, A BY-LAW TO ADOPT THE ESTIMATES OF ALL SUMS REQUIRED DURING THE YEAR TO STRIKE THE RATES OF TAXATION FOR THE YEAR 2006 WHEREAS Section 290 of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25, as amended provides that a local municipality shall in each year prepare and adopt a budget including estimates of all sums required during the year for the purposes of the municipality; AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine passed By-law No. 2006 - 069 on May 03, 2006 to adopt the estimates of all sums required during the year to strike the rates of taxation for the year 2006; AND WHEREAS the Council of the Municipality of Kincardine has deemed it advisable to amend By-law No. 2006 - 069; AND WHEREAS the desired amendments have no impact on the tax levy or the tax rate; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine ENACTS as follows: 1. That the budget summary and the reserve & reserve funds continuity worksheets of By-law No. 2006 - 069 of the Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine be amended to add the following items: Tourism budget - revenues and expenditures in the amount of $32,900 each, re: Energy Solutions Expo Construction of Crosswalk on Huron Terrace - Revenue of $20,000 Transfer from Capital Reserve and $20,000 expense for purchase and installation. 2. That this by-law shall come into full force and effect upon its passage. 3. This By-law may be cited as the "Amendment to the 2006 Taxation By-law".
