THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDmE
BY-LAW
NO. 2006 - 065
BEING A BY-LAW TO ACCEPT A TENDER FOR
GRASS CUTTING IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE
(Creative Image Landscaping)
WHEREAS the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25 Section 11 (2) provides that
lower-tier municipalities may pass by-laws within the sphere of jurisdiction of
culture, parks, recreation and heritage;
AND WHEREAS pursuant to the said Municipal Act, Sections 8 and 9 (1) provide
municipalities with the powers of a natural person to enable them to govern their
affairs as they consider appropriate under this or any other Act and to enhance
their ability to respond to municipal issues;
AND WHEREAS it has been determined grass cutting will be required on cultural
and recreational property owned by the Municipality of Kincardine in Ward 2
during the months of May through October;
AND WHEREAS the Council for the Municipality of Kincardine deems it expedient
to accept a tender for grass cutting at various locations within Ward 2 of the
Municipality of Kincardine;

NOW THEREFORE the Council for The Corporation of the Municipality of
Kincardine ENACTS as follows:
1. That the tenders of Creative Image Landscaping, for grass cutting:
i) at the Municipal Administration Centre, in the amount of $267.50 per
cut, including all applicable taxes;
ii) at various other locations within Ward 2, in the amount of $524.30
per cut, including all applicable taxes;
be hereby accepted.

2. That the Mayor and CAO be hereby authorized to sign, on behalf of the
Council for The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine any contracts
and other documents required to authorize such work.
3. This by-law shall come into full force and effect upon its final passage.
4. This by-law may be cited as the "2006 Ward 2 Grass Cutting Tender
Acceptance (Creative Image Landscaping) By-law".
READ a FIRST, SECOND and a THIRD time and FINALLY PASSED this 3RD
day of May, 2006.
