THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE
BY-LAW
NO. 2006 - 055
BEING A BY-LAW TO ESTABLISH THE "TIVERTON ENERGY SOLUTIONS
EXPO" AS A COMMITTEE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF
THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE
WHEREAS Section 224 of the Municipal Act 2001, S.D. 2001, c. 25, as amended
determines that the role of the Council of a municipality is to represent the public
and to consider the well-being and interest of the municipality;
AND WHEREAS the Council for the Corporation of The Municipality of Kincardine
deems it beneficial to establish the "Tiverton Energy Solutions Expo Committee"
as a committee of the Municipality to organize and coordinate a festival
established to promote energy savings, public dialogue and creative solutions for
the future;
AND WHEREAS pursuant to the said Municipal Act, Sections 8 and 9 (1)
provides municipalities with the powers of a natural person to enable them to
govern their affairs as they consider appropriate under this or any other act;
NOW THEREFORE the Council for The Corporation of the Municipality
Kincardine ENACTS as follows:
1. That the "Tiverton Energy Solutions Expo Committee" become a
Committee of the Municipality of Kincardine.
2.
This by-law shall come into full force and effect upon its final passage.
3. This by-law may be cited as the "Establish Tiverton Energy Solutions Expo
Committee By-law".
READ a FIRST, SECOND, and THIRD time and FINALLY PASSED this
19th day of April 2006.
