THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE
BY-LAW
NO. 2006 - 019
BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND THE
CONSOLIDATED COMMITTEE APPOINTMENTS BY-LAW
(Board of Management Business Improvement Area (BIA), Fish Kincardine
Salmon Derby and Kincardine Scottish Festival Highland Games)
WHEREAS Section 224 of the Municipal Act 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25, as amended
determines that the role of the Council of a municipality is to represent the public
and to consider the well-being and interest of the municipality;
AND WHEREAS the Council for the Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine
has determined that it requires various advisory committees, special committees,
boards and commissions to assist in this role;
AND WHEREAS pursuant to the said Municipal Act, Sections 8 and 9 (1)
provides municipalities with the powers of a natural person to enable them to
govern their affairs as they consider appropriate under this or any other act;
AND WHEREAS By-law No. 2004-11 was passed on the 21st day of January,
2004 to appoint members to various advisory committees, special committees,
boards and commissions;
AND WHEREAS the Council for the Corporation of The Municipality of Kincardine
deems it expedient to amend this by-law to appoint additional persons;
NOW THEREFORE the Council for The Corporation of the Municipality
Kincardine ENACTS as follows:
1. Schedule "A" of By-law No. 2004-11 be hereby repealed and replaced with
the attached Schedule "An (Brad Kirkconnell-Board of Management Business
Improvement Area (BIA)).
2. Schedule "X " Page 3 of 4 of By-law No. 2004-11 be hereby repealed and
replaced with the attached Schedule "X" Page 3 of 4 (Nick Toth - Fish Kincardine
Salmon Derby).
3. Schedule "X" Page 3 of 4 of By-law No. 2004-11 be hereby repealed and
replaced with the attached Schedule "X" Page 3 of 4 (Scott Telford and
Jason Hunter- Kincardine Scottish Festival and Highland Games).

4. This by-law shall come into full force and effect upon its final passage.
5. This by-law may be cited as the "Committee Appointments Amendment
(BIA, Fish Kincardine Salmon Derby and Kincardine Scottish Festival
Highland Games) February 2006 By-law".
READ a FIRST, SECOND, and THIRD time and FINALLY PASSED this
ath day of February, 2006.
