1: The initiatory steps to be taken in relation to -such
local improve:.ents as are authorized by this 3 -ely,

10: Forty per cent at least ( in the discretion o
the Council of said Corporation ) of the cost of all a�toh �'
sidewalks, exclusive of crossings or street intersections
as may be constructed under the provisions of Vita Bylaw i3a.%
any part of this ldunicipulity shall be assessed against the
property i:.ediately berofited thereby, and the rei ining

sixty per cent or leas as the said Council may from time to
time determine in addition to the total cost of crossings and
street interseotiors shall be payable out of the general funds
of the Municipality and shall be levied upon the whole rateable
property of the CorporatioA except in oases of properties
specially exempted therefrom in vrhole or in part, and shall
include the entire amount for tvitidl the Corporation would
otherwise be liable under any of the provisions of the said
Act relating to local improvemonts.
11: That the several provisions contained in
Sections §70 and 672 of said Consolidated ::unieipal Act re-
lating to the borrowing of more, for local improvements 'and
for issuing debentures for the repayment of temporary loans
therefor shall form constitute and he taken and oonsidered a
part of this 3ylaw
12: Mis Bylaw shall be in force and take effe
from and after the final. 1 thereof .
13: The votes of the Electors cf this "unicii)

14; That on the 4th day of January 1908, the Reeve
s: rttend at the said Village Uall at Blevon o'Uohk in
tl:e forenoon to appoint persons to attend at the polling
place ane. at the final( surr,ing up of the votes by the Villa
Clerk respectively , on behalf of the nersono interested in
and desirous of promoting or opposing the passing oe this
Bylaw.
15: The Clark of the Council of staid Village shall
attend at the Council Char-bar in said Village E411 a t the
hour of twelve o'clock noon on the Seventh day of January 1908
and si= up the number of votes given for or against this ll
Byltni.
