THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE
BY-LAW
NO. 2001 - 51
BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND ZONING BY-LAW NO. 1988-1 WHICH IS THE
TOWN OF KINCARDINE'S ZONING BY-LAW RESPECTING THE REMOVING OF
HOLDING PROVISIONS FROM LANDS LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF
HURON TERRACE, MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE (FORMERLY TOWN OF
KINCARDINE)
WHEREAS the Council for The Corporation of the Town of Kincardine passed By-law
1988-1, ~ing the former Town of Kincardine's Comprehensive Zoning By-law;
AND WHEREAS By-law 1988-1 as amended by By-law 1996-04, placed certain lands
in a Holding Residential (hR-1) category and specified the use to which lands,
buildings, or structures may be put until such time as the holding symbol is removed
pursuant to Section 36 of The Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13;
AND WHEREAS the provision relating to the removal of the holding symbol contained
in the Town of Kincardine's Official Plan has been satisfied for the purposes listed
below;
NOW THEREFORE the Council for The Municipality of Kincardine ENACTS as .
follows:
1. Schedule "A" forming part of former Town of Kincardine's By-law 1988-1 as
amended by By-law 1996-04, is hereby further amended by removing the
Holding ("h"') symbol for the purpose of allowing the construction of a residence,
from the zoning category Holding Residential (hR-1) to establish that the
Residential (R-1) zoning category applies to the land lying and being in the
former Town of Kincardine, being described generally as Lot 16, West Side of
Huron Terrace and known municipally as 600 Huron Terrace, Municipality of
Kincardine, described more particularly in Schedule "A" attached hereto and
forming part of this by-law.
2. The removal of the "h" is only for the purpose of construction of a residence and
the "h" will remain for any other purposes.
3. This by-law may be cited as the "Remove Holding Provision from Lot 16, West
Side Huron Terrace, By-law".
