WHEREAS in accordance with the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 200 ,c.25, as amended, authorizes the councils of all municipalities to close on a tempora basis any highway under the jurisdiction of the municipality for such social, recr ational, community, athletic or cinematographic purpose as may be specified in a by-Ia : NOW THEREFORE the Council for The Corporation of the MunifiPality of Kincardine ENACTS as follows: ¡ I 1 . That part of Queen Street, Municipality of Kincardine fr~m Durham Market Square north to the Knechtel Store shall be closed to alllvehicular traffic on May 16, June 27, August 1 and August 29,2003 from 5:3~ p.m. to 9:00 p.m. , The Drift In Cruise Night Committee shall erect at each en~ of such highway or portion thereof, and where an alternative route deviates t~erefore, a barricade upon which an adequate warning device shall be exposed land in good working order and at such points there shall be erected a detour sign indicating the alternative route and containing a notice that the highway is [Iosed to traffic.
