THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINC~INE
BY-LAW
NO. 2004 -115
BEING A BY-LAW TO ACCEPT A TENDER TO PURCHASE A B RNHAM HOT
WATER BOILER FOR THE DAVIDSON CENTRE FOR KINCARDIN AND DISTRICT
(Ken Robinson Refrigeration Inc.) i
WHEREAS the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25 Section 11 (2) rovides that lower-
tier municipalities may pass by-laws within the sphere of jurisdictio of culture, parks,
recreation and heritage;
AND WHEREAS the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25 Sections and 9 (1) provides
municipalities with powers of a natural person to enable them to go em their affairs as
they consider appropriate and to enhance their ability to respond to m nicipal issues;
AND WHEREAS the Council for The Corporation of the Municipality 0 Kincardine deems
it necessary to purchase a V905AW Burnham hot water, oil-fired boile ;
AND WHEREAS the Council for The Corporation of the Municipality 0 Kincardine deems
it expedient to accept a tender to purchase a V905AW Burnham hot ater, oil-fire boiler
from Ken Robinson Refrigeration Inc. of Stratford, Ontario; .
NOW THEREFORE the Council for The Corporation of the Munici ality of Kincardine
ENACTS as follows:
1. That the tender of Ken Robinson Refrigeration Inc. for a V9 5AW Burnham hot
water, oil fired boiler, in the amount of $10,492.21, plus all plicable taxes, be
hereby accepted.
2.
That the Mayor and CAO be hereby authorized to sign, on b half of the Council
for The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine any ntracts and other
documents required to authorize such purchase.
3. This by-law shall come into full force and effect upon its final p ssage.
4. This by-law may be cited as the "Davidson Centre Hot ater Boiler Tender
Acceptance, By-law".
READ a FIRST, SECOND and THIRD TIME and DEEMED TO BE PASSED this 14th
day of July, 2004.
