A by-law for submission to a vote of certain questions under the
provisions of Section 73 (1) of the Liquor Licence Act, R. S. . 1970,
c. 250.
WHEREAS at the time of the coming into force of the
Temperance Act a by-law passed under the Liquor Licence
in force within the limits of the municipality prohibiting the
liquor by retail therein.
AND WHEREAS under Section 73 (1) of the Liquor Lic nce Act,
the Council of a municipality in which the by-law was in forc may
submit to a vote of the persons qualified to be entered on th Voters'
List and to vote at Elections to the Assembly iµ..the municip lity, any
questions set forth in the Liquor Licence Act.
AND WHEREAS the Council deems it expedient and de irable to
submit to a vote of the persons qualified to vote thereon as a oresaid,
the following questions:
ARE YOU IN-FAVOUR OF TIE SALE OF LIQUOR UN ER
A DINING LOUNGE LICENCE FOR CONSUMPTION 0
LICENSED PREMISES WITH FOOD AVAILABLE?
ARE YOU IN FAVOUR OF THE SALE OF LIQUOR UN ER
A LOUNGE LICENCE FOR CONSUMPTION ON LICEN ED
PREMISES?
AND WHEREAS the Council having requested the Boar to fix
a day for the taking of the vote on the questions, the Board h s fixed
Wednesday the 12th day of September, 1973.
AND WHEREAS it is necessary to provide by by-law f r the
submission of the said questions to the persons qualified to ote
thereon and for the taking fo their votes thereon.
THEREFORE' the Council of the Corporation of the Vi lage of
Tiverton, in the County of Bruce, enacts as follows:
1. Under the Liquor Licence Act there is hereby s mitted
to a vote of the persons qualified to be entered on the Voters' List
and to vote at Elections to the Assembly in the municipality, the
following que stions:
ARE YOU IN FAVOUR OF THE SALE OF LIQUOR UN ER
A DINING LOUNGE LICENCE FOR CONSUMPTION 0
LICENSED PREMISES WITH FOOD AVAILABLE?
ARE YOU IN FAVOUR OF THE SALE OF LIQUOR UN ER
A LOUNGE LICENCE FOR CONSUMPTION ON LICEN ED
PREMISES?

2. The vote shall be taken on Wednesday the 12th day of
September, 1973, as directed by the Liquor Licence Board f
Ontario and in accordance with the Liquor Licence Act.
3. This by-law shall come into full force and effect upon he day
of final passing thereof.
