HomeMy WebLinkAbout23 008 2023 Consolidated Rates and Fees Amendment (2) By-lawTHE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF KINCARDINE BY-LAW NO. 2023 – 008 Being a By-law to Amend By-law No. 2022 - 162; Being a By-law to Establish Rates and Fees for Services Performed by The Municipality of Kincardine Whereas Section 391 (1) of the Municipal Act 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25, as amended, authorizes municipalities to pass by-laws imposing fees or charges on persons, (a) for services or activities provided or done by or on behalf of it; (b) for costs payable by it for services or activities provided or done by or on behalf of any other municipality or any local board; (c) for the use of its property including property under its control. and Whereas municipal Councils have the authority to establish rates and fees under various acts; and Whereas the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine, with the passage of By-law No. 2022 - 162, established rates and fees for services performed by the Municipality; Whereas the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine deems it necessary to amend Schedule ‘A’ and ‘C’ of By-law No. 2022 - 162 to align fees to support the Planning Program; now therefore be it Resolved that the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine Enacts as follows: 1.That Schedules ‘A’ and ‘C’ of the Municipality of Kincardine 2023 Consolidated Rates and Fees By-law No. 2022 – 162, is hereby repealed and replaced with the attached Schedules ‘A’ and ‘C’; 2.That this By-law shall come into full force and effect upon its final passage. 3.That this By-law may be cited as the “2023 Consolidated Rates and Fees Amendment (2) By-law”.
