BY-LAW NUMBER 1985
FOR THE REGULATION OF TRAFFIC
The Council of the Corporation of the MIl
of Kincardine enacts as follows:

(a)
F&r the purpose of this by-law:-
Highway includes a common and public highway
street, avenue, parkway, driveway, s µaret place,
bridge, viaduct or trestle, designed and J.ntended
for, or used by, the general public or the
passage of vehicles.
Intersection means the area embraced within the
prolongation or connection of the la eral ourb
lines or, if none, then of the later 1 boundary
lines of two or more highways that j in one another
at an angle, whether or not one high ay crosses
the other.
One-way street means a street upon w ich vehicular
traffic is limited to movement in on direction.
Park or parki~J when prohibited, me ns the standing
of a vehlc~e, whether occupied or no , except when
standing temporarily for the purpose of and while
actually engaged in loading or unloa ing
merchandise or passengers.
Pedestrian means a person afoot and n invalid or
chi~d in a wheelchair or carriage.

or a person authorized by the Chief onstable to
regulate or direct traffic.
