THEli.EFORE the Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Kincardine enacts as tollows:--
1. For the purposes of this by-law,--

"publio ball" shall mean any plaoe publio

entertainment, where an admission f is
oharged, or where af'ter admission a barge is
made or a fee collected, or where t publio
hall is rented or leased by any pers n or
organization for any such function, nd shall
include cloak: rooms,· wash rooms, ki t hens and
other service rooms used in oonnecti n there-
with but shall not inolude a theatre, a sohool
when used tor ødùoational purposes 0 y. a
lodge when used tor lodge purposes 0 , a
church or any building when used by reli-
gious organization tor religious pu oses
onlY.
"entertainment" sha¡l mean any dance, exhi-
bition, concert. show, variety prog m, motion
piotŒre showing, public lunoheon or inner,
*ame or sporting contest.

2.--(1) No person shall operate a public hel

hall unless he holds a public hall license i

fire-resistive oonstruction or on t e first

7.--(1) Every pablio hall shall have at 1
separate and independent ex! ts located as

10.--(1) The Width of every exit stairway s II be not
less than the exit door from which it leads and shall
have treads not less than ten inohes in wid h exclu-
