WHEREAS Subsection (7) of Section 22 of Th¢ Planning Act, R.S.O. 1970, Chapter 349, authorizes the C~unci1 of a Municipality with the approval of the Mini~ter, to amend a Redevelopment Plan; AND WHEREAS the Town of Kincardine, under $ubsection (5) of Section 22 of The Planning Act, R.S.O. 197¢, Chapter 349, has adopted a redevelopment plan; AND WHEREAS the proposed amendment to the ~edeve1opment Plan is in conformity with the Town's Official ~lan; NOW THEREFORE, the Municipal Council of th~ Corporation of the Town of Kincardine ENACTS as fellows: ¡ 1. That page 7 of the approved redeve1opm~nt plan is deleted and the attached new page 7 isihereby inserted as a replacement. i i 2. This By-law shall come into force and ~ake effect when it is given third and final reading and h~s received approval from the Minister of Housing. ¡ · I , THIS BY-LAW read a first, second and third ¡time, and finally passed on the 7th day , 1978. · -:/. --~ -- '-' . :::: /~_~DR ¡ I - ~- .. ' e · · · · I - (c) Albert Street Landfill Site ~ The former landfill site at the eastern end ~f Albert Street shall be developed as an active a~d/or passive recreational site. The 4 acres w~thin the redevelopment area shall be improyed at such time as NIP or other funding sources b$come available. At this time, landscaping and see~ing of the site as a passive open space area are *11 that is contemplated. ! (J) Priorities \ I I I I I I Based on the Citizens Advisory Group meetitgS, public meetings, examination of the questionnaires, discuss ons with various staff and Còunci1 members, as well as the own's engineers, the proposed improvements outlined in thislreport were placed in order of priority. Those propos41s not mentioned here may be considered alternatives until rurther funding becomes available, either through senior gQvernment grants or municipal sources. I (a) Kincardine South Sanitary Sewerag1 System - This proposal, demanding the bulk of ~IP funds will be considered a top priority of the r~deve1opment plan. (b) Elgin Market Landfill Site - This!3.3 acre site is to be developed in accordance!with the approved minor implementation By-law ~s submitted by the Town and approved by the Minis~er of Housing. (c) CNR Station Beach - This project ~s given third priority as negotiations for the land ¡are still in , I
