Ard10ch Lodge, built a century ago by Francis! Clifton
Loscomb, an early successful professional maniof the Town,
is recommended for designation because of itslhistorical
association with Sir Alexander MacKenzie. Mrf MacKenzie,
who used Ardloch as a summer home, is the on1 native of
Kincardine and Bruce County to have been knig ted.
Possibly the greatest importance of Ard10ch i in the
terms of Streetscape for the building and itslgrounds
dominate the surroundings and remind one of ~ important
era in the Town's history. -
