CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF KIN CARDIN
BY-LAW NO. ~t77
.
Being a by-law to fix and authorize payment of the salaries
of certain employees of the Town of Kincardine for 1976.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the C6pporation 0 the Town of
Kincardine enacts as follows:
The following sums and allowances shall

HOURS OF WORK: for the above outside Workers, including
and replacement or addition to their positions a regular
work week from Thursday morning to Wednesday n ght, shall
consist of forty hours.
OVERTIME: The said workers shall receive time and one half
(It) his hourly rate for any part or hour ther of in excess
of the said forty hour week.
The Town Foreman, Gerald Stewart, to receive t e sum of:
(a) $10.00 for his attendance at the firs Council
Meeting of each month.
(b) $20.00 per year for all Committee mee ings.
CLOTHING: The Corporation shall supply each pe

of safety boots.
It is a condition of employment on such employes that they
wear safety boots while on duty.

That the Corporation will pay 100% of the fost of O.H.I.P.
for each employee who participates in @he lan.

12. That each employee of the Corporation sha be allowed
up toa maximum of three days off for com ssionate leave
due to the death of a member of the immed' te family,
being the father, .other, brother, sister, son or
daughter of either member of the employee or his wife.
13. (a) The Corporation will provide Suppleme tary Pension
Benefits as provided by Section 23 of the Ontario Municipal
Employees Retirement System Act, such tha a supplementary
pension payable on retirement at age 65, 0 that a total
pension payable from the Ontario Municipa Retirement
System and any approved pension plan is e ual to 2% of the
employee's highest sixty consecutive mont s average
earnings multiplied by the years of credi ed service to a
maximum of 35 years, reduced by .7% of th lesser of such
average earning to the year's maximum pen ionable earnings
at the time of retirement and multiplied y the number of
years of credited service after January 1 t, 1970, up to a
maximum of 35 years.
(c) That the early retirement pension b nefit shall provide
that a member shall receive a pension wit no acturial
reduction from his earned pension if a me ber retires
within ten years of his normal retirement date because he
is declared on medical findings satisfact ry to the
Corporation, to be unfit to perfonn his d ties due to
